| I am a wildlife and nature artist currently living in
Barrie, Ontario.
I do most of my work in acrylics. I have used oils and watercolours but prefer to work with acrylics. I also do charcoal and soft pastel works on paper. My favourite artist is Carl Brenders. I find his paintings to be the most lifelike and realistic that I have seen. "Down For The count" is a very good example. I have sold many paintings throughout the world through Ebay, my website and to collectors and galleries. I have also had many small, successful shows in Canada, as well as receiving personal commissions. I have taught art classes at the YMCA and have contributed works of art to be auctioned for charity. I am preparing to teach beginner art classes to adults, in person, and will be selling these packages of lessons on my website in the near future.

| I was born in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, where I learned to
paint at a very early age from my mother and grandmother who were both
successful artists.
I continued to take art all through school, although my main studies were in the business and computer field. I have studied art techniques on my own, as an adult, and have worked to develop my skill and technique. I became interested in wildlife, conservation and gardening as a very young woman. A love for God's creations is the stimulus that keeps me painting and the beauty surrounding us is the inspiration for most of my paintings. |
